From Florida Turnpike North & Southbound:
Take SR-429 exit toward Apopka. At the end of SR-429, Merge onto W. Orange Blossom Trail / US-441 N via the exit on the Left toward Plymouth / Mount Dora. Follow Orange Blossom Trail until you notice a large sign on the right: "Welcome to Beautiful Mount Dora." shortly after, exit left onto CR-500A W / Old US-441. This street is also called Highland Street. Follow Highland / Old 441 until the intersection of 5th Avenue. (Jeremiah’s Restaurant will be on the right). Turn left on 5th Avenue. Look for the flashing yellow light, the next street is Tremain. Turn right. Follow one block to 6th Avenue.
From the Orlando International Airport
Take the ramp toward I-4 / SR-528-Toll / Cocoa /Kennedy Space Center. Merge onto FL-528 W (Portions toll). Take Exit 4 toward US-92 / US-17 / US-441 / Orange Blossom Trail / Florida Turnpike. Take the exit toward Florida Turnpike North / Ocala. Follow directions from Florida Turnpike (above).
From I-75 Northbound (South of Tampa)
Take I-75 North to I-4 East. Continue on I-4 to the Florida Turnpike North / Ocala. Follow directions from Florida Turnpike (above).
From I-75 (North of Tampa)
Take I-75 north to I-4 East. Continue on I-4 to State Road 27 Clermont. Follow to the exit for SR-19 toward Howey in the Hills. Follow SR-19 past Howey, over the Little Lake Harris Bridge, past the Astatula exit into Tavares. At Tavares SR-19 intersects US-441. Turn right / East to Mount Dora on US-441. Once in Mt. Dora, US-441 will intersect Donnelly Street. Turn right at Donnelly Street. You will see a sign: "Mt. Dora Historic District." Follow Donnelly Street into town, turn left at 6th Avenue and follow two blocks up the hill to Tremain Street.

Follow the "new" highway 429 northbound towards Winter Garden/Apopka. Continue on this highway until the end. At the end traffic signal turn left onto Orange Blossom Trail/Hwy 441. Follow 441 approximatly 10 miles, passing through the small towns of Zellwood and Tangerine. Shortly after the town of Tangerine on your right hand side of the highway you will see a sign "Welcome to Beautiful Mt. Dora", approximatly 1 mile past this sign will be an exit marked 46 Mt.Dora/Sanford. Make this exit and at the stop turn Left heading towards Mt.Dora. Follow this road to the first traffic signal, Highland St. and turn Right. Follow Highland to the next traffic signal, 5Th Ave and turn Left. Continue down 5th Ave two blocks until you see a flashing "yellow" traffic signal at the Methodist Church, at the next street Tremain St., turn right and Adora Inn is on the very next corner. Driving time once you exit the Disney property onto the 429 is 35 minutes.
From I-75 Southbound
Follow I-75 South toward the Florida Turnpike South. Follow directions from Florida Turnpike (above).
From I-95 Northbound
Follow I-95 to Cocoa, go West on the FL-528 (the Bee Line) to I-4. Take I-4 North to Ocala, then take Florida Turnpike to SR-429. Follow directions from Florida Turnpike (above).
From I-95 Southbound
Follow I-95 to the I-4 West / Tampa. Follow I-4 to SR-46 / Sanford. Exit I-4, turn right onto SR-46 / West toward Mount Dora. SR-46 will end at Highland Street / Old 441 in the town of Mount Dora. Follow Highland / Old 441 to 5th Avenue. (Jeremiah’s Restaurant will be on the right). Turn left on 5th Avenue. Look for the flashing yellow light, the next street is North Tremain. Turn right. One block to 6th Avenue. |
